International Festival

Liz Says

April is bringing lots of excitement to Hudson and The Learned Owl. In addition to a full schedule of authors, we have the second annual International Festival - and this year we will be China! Specially created fortune cookies, eggrolls, a Chinese checkers tournament and much more. (We are in need of several sets of Chinese checkers - do you have one we can borrow?) Check out all the details here.

I am also looking for volunteers to read 3 or 4 sentences from
IN DIFFERENT LANGUAGES. This will take place during the closing ceremony of the Festival on Saturday, April 21. Give me a call or send an email to
if you can help.

Then on Monday, April 23 we are joining more than 5000 towns and cities across the country to celebrate World Book Night. Thanks to the several dozen customers and friends who have volunteered to help hand out books! Read more about World Book Night here.

Happy reading (and gardening),
Liz
