Greetings!
Have you had a chance to make the call?
Tomorrow at 3:00 pm the Appropriations Committee is holding a Public Hearing on the Governor's Deficit Mitigation plan (if you'd like to participate, see details at the bottom). Her plan calls for the suspension of non-emergency dental services to adults covered by Medicaid and SAGA. It is extremely important that your legislators hear from you, TODAY, your opposition to proposed health care cuts in Governor Rell's deficit mitigation plan. Your quick call carries a tremendous impact:
WITH ONE CALL, YOU CAN PROMOTE ORAL HEALTH FOR ALL!
And there's new information. Connecticut stands to receive $66 million in new-found federal money under the Medicare Part D "clawback" that would specifically allow our state to "maintain Medicaid." There is NO NEED to cut these vital services that promote the strength and vitality of our state. We need to KEEP THE TEETH!
Take a moment, right now, to call your senator and representative: tell them to oppose the cuts in health care and to tell their legislative leaders to oppose the cuts!
You can reach your legislators at these telephone numbers:
Senate Democrats: 860-240-8600 or 1-800-842-1420
House Democrats: 860-240-8500 or 1-800-842-1902
Senate Republicans: 860- 240-8800 or 1- 800- 842-1421
House Republicans: 860-240-8700 or 1-800-842-1423
In closing, let me ask two favors of you:
Thanks for your calls and your efforts to
KEEP THE TEETH!
