'State Budget Options for a Stronger Connecticut'

This program will review:
  • State budget and revenue trends
  • Latest developments from Connecticut's legislative session
  • Revenue and policy options that can help to close the budget deficit and preserve public services
Connecticut's public structures - systems that provide education, public safety, health care, transportation and a healthy environment - are essential to our quality of life and the health of our economy. Come  hear an analysis of whether our current tax system is providing the revenue we need to maintain these structures and recommendations about ways to address new challenges and opportunities.
