Program Highlights:
- Marcia Brand, Ph.D., Associate
Administrator for Rural Health Policy and
Associate Administrator for Health
Professions, HRSA, U.S. Department of Health
and Human Services, will give an update on
federal programs and policies that impact the
ability of rural organizations to recruit and
retain oral health professionals in rural
areas
- Jack Dillenberg, D.D.S., M.P.H., Dean of
the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health
, will discuss how ATSU meets its mission of
educating caring, technologically adept
dentists who become community and educational
leaders serving those in need
- Regional Rural Oral Health Challenges:
Representatives from each of the six New
England state oral health offices will
discuss efforts to improve access to oral
health services including programs for
recruitment and retention of oral health
providers and changes in the providers' scope
of services
- A variety of stimulating, concurrent
sessions all afternoon

short, is a statewide collaborative of dental
and health
professionals and community
leaders. Our
mission is Oral Health for All. We work to
persuade, educate and inform decision makers
and the general public about the importance of
oral health and access to care. COHI began
in 1992 as a project of the Connecticut State
Dental Association and incorporated as a
separate 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation in
