Meet a member of our Team!
| Linda Archer | I started working at Conway Stewart in 2004 as a pen maker. Back in
those days our production was focused primarily on resin pen models, as
opposed to today with our much wider range including many pieces in
precious metals.

Greetings!
July 2010 and the less said about England's performance at the world cup the better but congratulations to the eventual winners Spain and to South Africa for hosting a superb tournament. Moving swiftly on and within the Conway Stewart factory this month there has been some real developments in new products which we are all excited to share with you. As you can see below we have the Detection Collection soon to launch but also following the success of the Wordsworth Blue Ripple, there is a new Collectors Club special edition which we hope proves to be just as popular. But its not all work and no play - this month has seen the launch of the Conway Stewart table tennis league which was kindly opened by our ex-employee Hilda, who had the honour of playing the first official game - which saw her roll back the years to beat Louis, two games to one.
And finally to those on their holidays - everyone here at Conway Stewart wishes you a pleasant and relaxing summer holiday!

Collectors Club Pen 2010 Wordsworth Cardinal Ripple Ebonite
Wordsworth Collectors Club Cardinal Ripple | In response to requests from members of the Collectors Club, Conway Stewart is pleased to announce the launch of the limited edition Wordsworth Collectors Club Cardinal Ripple.
Available exclusively to members of our Collectors Club, Conway Stewart is now making the Wordsworth model in a classic Cardinal Ripple Ebonite. The elegant light red shades of this material highlight both cap and barrel, set off with deep black grain structure throughout. Bringing the look of richly grained wood mixed with the warm red colours of all natural ebonite.
Ripple Ebonite is a natural choice for a fine writing instrument that is at once deeply rooted in the classic history of Conway Stewart, while still providing an appealing alternative to today's high tech world of e-mail and smart phones.
Only 100 pieces will be made and orders will be fulfilled on a first come first served basis. This colour will not be repeated on this model thereafter and will not be available as a bespoke pen. Read More...

A visit to the Conway Stewart factory
Rich Littlestone and Rik Knablein, owners of MetalWrite, have been collaborating for about a year with Conway Stewart in the way of a solid metal (silver and Damascus steel) pen that is co-branded. During this time Rich has been so impressed with the company, its people, especially Mary Burke, and the impressive quality of their pens that he just had to make an attempt to see where it is all done. Through some e-mails over several months and one unsuccessful trip attempt in December Rich and Laurel, punched the button for their trip...

Coronet Series Review by Doug Vicary
Seasoned pen collector and aficionado, Doug Vicary, reviews the Coronet series.
It's no secret that I've been a huge fan of the modern Conway
Stewart pens...
I was
having a hard time finding a point of reference for the new Conway
Stewart Coronet. But fortuitously enough, while I was playing around
with the Coronet I received the June issue of the Conway Stewart
newsletter. Featured was a brief piece about the Book of Numbers,
an online compilation of Conways over the years. |
