Hello everyone - firstly let me say what an honour it is to be involved so heavily with the collectors club. I hope you enjoy reading the newsletter as much as we enjoy writing it.

I joined the Conway Stewart team in January of this year as the Sales and Marketing manager. Whilst it has been a steep learning curve - I have enjoyed every moment of it and this has largely been down to my fellow colleagues who make going into work such a pleasure. My role allows me to meet many of our customers too and it really is enjoyable to hear all the fascinating stories you have about Conway Stewart and your love of great writing instruments.

Anecdotes from a
75 year old ex-employee of Conway Stewart

Hilda
Image of Hilda
Hilda began working for Conway Stewart as a 15 year old school girl in January 1949 and stayed with the company until 1958. As of next month we are delighted to have the opportunity of including some of Hilda's fascinating stories reliving her time at Conway Stewart.

Glenn Jones, Managing Director of Conway Stewart, describes Hilda "as one of the most charming people I have ever had the pleasure of getting to know'". He adds, "My correspondence with Hilda over recent months has been a real pleasure and I hope her stories will allow you to get a glimpse of what it was like working for Conway Stewart in the 1940's and 50's."

The first of Hilda's stories can be read in next months newsletter.

Pen World Reader Choice Awards
Dandy Heritage Limited Edition
Conway Stewart Dandy Heritage

Thank you to all who voted for the Dandy Heritage to win the Brand Icon 2010 Award.

The Dandy model typifies the understated elegance of 1920s pen design and is one of Conway Stewarts most distinctive profiles. In keeping with the classic design of this popular model, the Dandy Heritage sports a gleaming black cap and barrel, each intricately engraved with an Art Deco design. A pattern of interlocking geometric diamonds laces lengthwise along the pen, making the Dandy Heritage not only an elegant choice, but a stylish one as well. It's the perfect fit for today's busy lifestyle, combining a timeless look with a practical size.
