Levin Releases New Study on Global Talent
A 4-year Levin research project on evolving talent pools in the emerging (BRICs) countries concluded that talent has become an increasingly strategic asset for both nations and corporations and actions have to be taken to raise the quality of the talent pool to meet economic, technological and societal changes. Levin's Global Talent Project was led by Levin's former Provost Denis Fred Simon and Levin Researcher, Cong Cao, who assembled a five country team to complete the project.
With funding and support from IBM, Levin's team assembled an unequaled set of data on supply and demand for innovation talent in the emerging world. The project concluded with a Levin symposium on October 30th. Which included a visit from Mr. Li Wancai, the Mayor of Dalian, one of China's leading innovation cities.
