Have you ever heard of Bobcat Fever? Bobcat fever is a virus passed from a bobcat to a tick. The tick then becomes the host, and the tick bites a cat. This virus is almost always fatal. Especially if you live in the central US region, take heed to this warning! For more information, go to www.projecthelios.org. There is NOT a cure for this virus as of yet, but there is an herb treatment (monolauren) if the virus is caught at the first signs. Please spread the word and make sure your cat(s) is wearing Frontline (the only treatment that kills ticks) and wearing a flea/tick collar. Additionally, treat your yard and an all natural flea/and tick repellent for your cats couldn't hurt also.

I lost my precious Jeb to this virus on May 25, 2010. He was only four years old. I treated him with the herb monolauren, but I didn't catch the symptoms early enough. I miss him so much!!!
