Jumpstart is a national early education organization that works toward
the day every child in America enters school prepared to succeed.
Through extraordinary attention in yearlong one-to-one relationships,
Jumpstart inspires children to learn, adults to teach, families to get
involved and communities to progress together. During the 2007-2008 program year, Jumpstart is
serving 13,000 children across 20 states.
Jumpstart is currently hiring a Mid-Atlantic Region Director of Development and Mid-Atlantic Region Executive Director.

Development Director
|
Year Up is a one-year, intensive training program that provides urban young adults, ages 18-24, with a unique combination of technical and professional skills, college credits, and paid corporate internships. The Development Director will manage and implement all activities relating to fundraising, donor management, government relations, marketing, events, and the volunteer program to support the Greater Boston site's anticipated 2008 operating budget of $7.2M. A new position created due to organizational growth, the Development Director will leverage the time of the Executive Director, take the lead on managing all donor relationships and stewardship, and manage a team of three to raise $3.6M.
