Summer is here and there is so much going on! See our stories below about classes, special events, Sampling Saturdays and much, much more. Herb truffles are back for the summer and we are introducing some new dipped fruits. At the same time, a few favorites are taking a "vacation" ~ they will not be available until the fall.

For those of you interested in our classes but can't make it on our scheduled dates, give us a call. If you gather a group of at least five individuals we would be happy to work with you to find a date that fits your calendar and conduct a private class.

With all the events that summer time brings - cookouts, family reunions, picnics and more - we had to include two recipes this month! Enjoy the Chocolate Martini recipe on June 19th - National Martini Day.

Lastly, celebrate LEON day June 25th (check out the June Holiday section to learn what LEON means)!

Herb Fair
June 26th & 27th

Mulberry Creek is once again hosting an Herb Fair! The theme for 2009 is "Ireland and Going Greener".

Join Tre Sorelle as we bring back our Herb Truffles (see article).

There will also be:

a free herb
classes and garden tours
vendors offering garden items, food, Irish and green products
bakery
plant sale

June Classes

This June join us for a class in our (cool) facility.

Early in the month, the adults can participate in a Tea Tasting on Thursday June 11th. Taste several of the Tea s'il vous plait teas and learn how to properly brew tea for drinking both hot and iced. The event runs 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm. RSVP by Monday June 8th.

For the children (ages 8 - 14), we have a Make Your Own Candy Bars class on Tuesday June 23rd. Children will get to make 4 candy bars either plain or with a crunchy add-in. They will also get to design their own candy wrapper with stickers and stamps. The event runs 1:00 - 2:30 pm. RSVP by Friday June 19th.

Chocolate Recipe of the Month #1
Frozen Mexican Spiced Cocoa

From: Caffe D Amore

3 heaping Tablespoons Caffe D Amore Mexican Spiced Cocoa mix* (available at Tre Sorelle Cioccolato)
8 oz cup of ice cubes
� cup water OR milk

Place all ingredients in blender. Blend until smooth.

Serves 1

* equivalent of 1 packet 1.5 oz

Chocolate Recipe of the Month #2

Chocolate Martini - Enjoy on June 19th!

From: Caffe D Amore/Bellagio

3 Tablespoons Bellagio Sipping Chocolate* (available at Tre Sorelle Cioccolato)
1/3 cup hot whole milk
3 - 4 oz vodka
2 oz Irish cream liqueur or Chocolate liqueur
1 oz vanilla syrup
Ice cubes

Add mix into hot whole milk, stirring well. Let cool.

When sipping chocolate is cooled, combine chocolate, vodka, Irish cream liqueur, syrup and ice to martini shaker

Shake until chilled

Serves 2
