Chocolate Recipe of the Month
Raspberry Cabernet Brownies
From: the kitchen at Tre Sorelle Cioccolato
Raspberry Cabernet Brownies
1 c Unsalted butter, room temperature
1¼ c Sugar
½ c Firmly packed brown sugar
4 Large eggs
½ c Unsweetened cocoa powder
1 Tbls Firelands Winery Cabernet Sauvignon
1 tsp Pure vanilla extract
¼ tsp Salt
1 ¼ c All-purpose flour
1 c dried raspberries lightly chopped
1. Preheat oven to 375o Grease 9 x 13 inch pan 2. In small bowl mix the raspberries and the cabernet. Set aside.
3. Beat butter, sugar and brown sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
4. Stir in cocoa, vanilla, salt and flour. When blended add the raspberry/wine mixture. Stir until blended.
Bake until tester inserted in brownies comes out clean, about 30-40 minutes. Cool completely in pan on rack. |

Also available are solids in seasonal shapes, pretzel rods decorated in green and white sprinkles, as well as Oreo cookies with shamrocks, leprechan hats and leprechan pipes.
