Make your own chocolate Santa
Our next class meets November 2 from 1 pm to 2:30 pm (anticipated ending time). The topic is Making Molded Chocolates and features a unique mold for a photographic view of Jolly old St. Nick himself - Santa Claus!
Students will:
- learn how to make a molded chocolate
- receive a Santa mold to take home
- receive 1/2 pound of white chocolate to take home
Cost of this class is $20 per person.

Chocolate Recipe of the Month Chocolate Shortbread Cookies
From "Afternoon Tea Serenade" by Menus and Music
Available at Tre Sorelle Cioccolato
3/4 cup butter at room temperature
2-1/2 tablespoons sugar
1-1/2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
1/4 cup plus 1 Tbls sweetened cocoa powder
In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. In a medium bowl, sift the flour and cocoa powder together. Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and stir to combine well, scraping down the sides of the bowl. Divide the dough in half. Roll the dough into logs inside plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until firm.
Preheat the oven to 350°. Cut the dough into 1/4 inch slices and place about 1 inch apart on greased bakjing sheets. Bake in the center of the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes. Remove from the pan and let cool on a rack. (Makes 3 dozen)

Veteran's Day is November 11th when we honor all those who served in the military in defense of our country.
Tre Sorelle would like to extend a special thank you gift to our veterans. Stop in our store any day from Nov 11 through Nov 16 and receive a free piece of chocolate. We have chocolates which display the military emblems of all five branches of service - Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marines & Navy. Just let us know in which branch you served.
