Once a year, our nation celebrates Thanksgiving: a
time to give thanks, express our gratitude, and indulge
in our bounty.
How would your life be different if you celebrated giving thanks everyday? Studies show that focusing on what we are grateful for reduces stress and increases our happiness. I encourage you to make a list of at least 10 things that you appreciate - anything from the warmth of the sun to the love of your family. Review this list frequently, especially when you feel stressed or down. Focusing on what you have, instead of what you don't have, will bring you even more bounty in your life. Happy Thanksgiving! |
