Susan Lowry, wife of Tom Lowry, a former GLiBA board member and owner of Lowry's Books in Three Rivers and Sturgis, Michigan, died Tuesday after a long battle with leukemia. Susan was a familiar face at GLiBA and other book events, which the Lowrys almost always attended together.
Tom invites his bookselling friends to either of two occasions to celebrate her life.
Visitation is Friday, February 26, from 1:00-8:00 p.m. at Hohner Funeral Home, 1004 Arnold Street, Three Rivers, MI 49093-9572.
A Private Celebration will be held Saturday, February 27, noon-4:00, at the Riviera Theatre, 50 N. Main St., Three Rivers, MI 49093.
Donations in Susan's memory may be made to one of three Three Rivers organizations - the Domestic Assault Shelter, the Carnegie Center for the Arts, or Three Rivers Mentoring - or to Three Cups of Tea Central Asia. Donations should be sent to the Hohner Funeral Home. |
