Free Spanish Program Books from GSUSA for Brownies & Juniors!
GSNETX has been chosen as one of 10 councils to pilot new Spanish books for adults and girls (Brownies & Juniors). The content of the book is tied to our Journey books and the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. In addiditon, our girls have the opportunity to do fun activities and earn badges! If you are interested in reviewing the books or participating in our pilot program and utilizing this practical and fun resource with your troops, please contact us to receive your free copies today plus more information on our pilot.

First Ever GSNETX Money Camp
Money doesn't come with instructions, but we use it every day. Come play energetic games, act in fun roles and learn how to make money work for you! Girl Scout Juniors have the opportunity to attend one of two Money Camps this summer.
Money Camp will be held at the JoAnn Fogg Service Center and the Southern Sector Service Center - July 9th - 13th from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Cost is $25.00 per girl.

Join the Girl Scout GSNETX Global Green Team
GSNETX is looking for girls who want to be leaders and care about their environment.
We are seeking Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors to lead the way while earning community service hours, gaining leadership skills, and using their creative talents to provide a fun learning experience for other youth locally and internationally. Girls will be involved in a twinning partnership with Brazil to develop, plan, and implement an international environmental take action project as they engage at least 400 youth locally. This project will take place from September of 2012 through August of 2013.

Calling all Cadettes-Ambassadors!
We have an exciting opportunity ahead of us-EF Tours is offering a Texas Statewide Girl Scout International trip to London and Paris starting June 17-24, 2014. How cool is that! And to hold a spot, each girl pays $95 to enroll! (The total cost for each girl is $3,207.) This is a girl trip, meaning the spots are reserved solely for the girls. There will be council-provided chaperones as well as a full-time EF Tour Guide.

Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas is hosting the Girl Scouts Centennial Exhibition at the 2012 State Fair of Texas in the Hall of State and all Girl Scouts are invited to be a part of history!
Enter the Leading the Way Centenniy'all Competition to have your creativity displayed at the exhibition. Winners will see their submissions displayed in the Hall of State Winner's Hall during the 2012 State Fair of Texas.
