We hope all of you are enjoying the fall and looking forward to the upcoming holidays ~ here are some quick updates from us, and I'll be blogging a bit more about each soon:

Greenbuild: Boston is such a great city, and this year Greenbuild out did itself! Last week we visited the Trade Show floor on Wednesday and enjoyed a lovely lunch sponsored by Tecta America where we had an opportunity for a questions and answers session. We heard from Angie Durhman, Tecta's Green Roof Specialist, John Shepley of Emory Knoll Farms, and Craig Silvertooth of CEIR. Afterwards we tried to stop by all our colleagues' booths as well as see all the new and exciting environmentally friendly products out there.

Sky Gardens WebTV Series: On Thursday and Friday we were in New York filming our second episode of Sky Gardens, highlighting the Cook+Fox Architects corporate offices in Manhattan. We interviewed architect Mark Rusitzky about this fascinating skyrise greenroof and Rohit Aggarwala, the director of the New York City Mayor's Office of Long-Term Planning and Sustainability and chief architect of PlaNYC. More info later!

Atlanta Conference Steering Committee: You probably know the 7th Annual Greening Rooftops for Sustainable Communities Conference, Awards and Trade Show will be held in Atlanta from June 3 - 5, 2009, and we met for the first time a couple of weeks ago at Southface Energy Institute where Green Roofs for Healthy Cities' Jennifer Sprout lead a lively meeting to get us all thinking how we can make next year's conference one truly not to be missed!
