Foliage-packed 'green roofs' to debut in Coconut Creek's MainStreet
The new MainStreet development area of the Promenade at Lyons will open in October with greenroofs atop residences, businesses, stores and even parking garages downtown. MainStreet project coordinator Jim Hetzel said 40 percent of the buildings in the area bordered by Wiles Road to the north, Lyons Road to the east, Sample Road to the south and State Road 7 to the west are expected to have green roofs.
