 We are developing video to submit to Austria. Please wear your "Whoville" costume, cowboy boots, and a cowboy hat to the Denton Court House this Friday, May 13th from 7-8pm. Please also bring your pointe shoes :)
Nita Acton has been able to organize another photo shoot at the 7Bar Ranch in Aubrey! We will be posing OUTSIDE THE FENCE with a herd of longhorn cattle INSIDE THE FENCE. Dancers are to, again, wear their "Whoville" costumes, cowboy boots and a cowboy hat. This will take place this Sunday, May 15 from 6-8pm. Bring your pointe shoes to this one too!

We'll have a sizing set of warm-ups at DDC by this Saturday for everyone to try on! The warm-ups are black with white piping and feature our new company logo on the back of the jacket, with the initials "dccb" on the right pant-leg. The jackets zip and are machine wash/tumble dry and are polyester, so they won't shrink! The pants have pockets and also zip at the hemline. These are QUITE SNAZZY and I can't wait to see our dancers go everywhere in them!!! These will be the same warm-ups that we offer to new company members next fall.
The total cost for the jacket & pants is $86.25
The jacket alone is $55.00
Option to have your name on the front left of the jacket is $10
We will have the order forms at the studio on Saturday. DEADLINE to order is Saturday, May 21st!!!

As you all know, our dancers worked very hard raising money during the passed year to help offset the costs of going to Austria! And their efforts are paying off! Starting Monday, May 16th, Austria cast can pick up their checks in the office. Each dancer will receive.... $313.96 toward their trip!!!

Starting Friday, May 20th from 6:30-9:30pm, recent BYU Dance graduate and former 10-year DDC student, Miss Tricia Ragsdale will be setting choreography on our dancers to be performed in next year's COLLAGE 2012: Denton Dance Festival! The cast list has been posted, and the dancers are quite excited! Miss Tricia will work them hard, so make sure you're warmed up!!! |

Don't forget we're doing interviews with the dancers AND shooting video of company class & rehearsals, this Saturday after company class, 11-12:30pm for the Austria video! Look awake:)
