Sound, visionary stewardship

Welcome

Greetings!

Summer is filled with so many wonderful experiences. We love shopping at the local farmer's market and experimenting with new veggies (we pickled purslane and grilled Romanesco cauliflower this month) or kayaking on remote ponds and lakes.

Besides the trips to the beach or out on the boat, one of our favorite summer events is a picnic on the lawn at Tanglewood. Last weekend we were rated "the best" set-up by a little girl who was scouting out the sites with her dad.

Two years ago we invested in a heavy duty wagon and umbrella set up but this winter we found THE perfect accessory--the fold-up picnic table and stools. We now do have the perfect site. We enjoy getting the "thumbs up" and very kind comments from other patrons, and even the security guards and volunteer ushers.

Before summer passes you by, make sure you get outside and enjoy. This season passes all too quickly! What you are up to this season?

Cheers,

Yield of Dreams

"If you build it they will come." It's a great line from the movie Field of Dreams.

Every day, I hear a radio advertisement for a structured settlement offer. Market turmoil and low yields have many investors looking toward alternative investments. Structured settlement investments are catching investors' eyes with their "safe" high yields. As with anything too good to be true, move cautiously before you invest hard-earned dollars in a structured settlement investment.

The cure for shopping addicts

Almost everyone wants to spend less money. For some people, that means first overcoming a shopping addiction.

Wanted: A 15-year home loan

Average rates on 15-year fixed-rate mortgages have been below 3% since May, leading more borrowers to consider swapping their current home loan for one with a 15-year term.
