The fall is a time of focus. The kids are back to school. The lazy days are summer are behind us. It's time to set goals and put action plans against them. What goals have you set for you self? What action step can you take today that gets you closer to your goal? Go ahead and just do it!  You'll be glad you did.

Are you a business professional with a passion for the arts and a desire to play a leadership role in your community? Kick your life into high gear by joining the board of a non-profit organization through the Arts & Business Council's Business On Board program.

Business On Board is a board training and placement program for business professionals interested in serving on the boards of non-profit organizations in metro Boston. The program provides specialized instruction in non-profit board service, helps connect participants with organizations that best suit their interests, and personally facilitates board selection and final placement.  Application deadline is October 1.

On another note...homemade mozzarella.  Paula Harris is teaching students to make mozzarella in 30 minutes again this fall and winter! On Saturday, September 22 you can catch a demonstration between 12:30 and 3:00 at the Historic O'Neil Farm located in Duxbury. There will be hands-on classes through Duxbury Before & After Dark. Lastly, you could purchase your own private Cheesemaking party for you and your friends by attending and bidding at the gala auctions of either the Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra Great Gatsby Symphony Gala on October 26 or the Crossroads for Kids Harvest Moon benefit on October 13. What fun!
