New Investigation Exposes Cruelties at Egg Factory Farm
As reported in the New York Times, today the Humane Society of the United States released a shocking new undercover video exposing horrific conditions for animals at Kreider Farms, an egg factory farm in Pennsylvania. The footage reveals severe overcrowding in small wire barren battery cages as well as birds trapped in the wires of their cages and rotting corpses left in cages with live birds. Kreider is one of the few egg producers in the US that doesn't support federal legislation aimed at improving conditions for America’s laying hens.
