Naples in Top 10 Turnaround Towns

A few years ago, when foreclosures hit record highs, southwest Florida was one of the areas of the country hit the hardest.  According to Realtor.com, the official site of the National Association of Realtors, some of the cities whose housing markets bore the brunt of the foreclosures are now leading the way toward recovery.  

 

CNBC.com, using data provided by Realtor.com, ranked Naples as one of the top 10 cities showing a significant rebound as the housing market recovers in SWFL.

 

This is the first time Naples has appeared on the list of turnaround towns. List prices have increased by 13.38 percent, housing inventory has experienced a 35.94 percent reduction and houses are spending 13.64 percent less time on the market without a buyer.  Ft. Myers also appeared in the top ten list coming in at #4.

Golf Tip of the Month  

 

Give chip shots the back of your hand.

 

If you grip the club too lightly when you are chipping, you may make a longer, looser backswing and then hit the ground behind the ball. You should grip the club firmly with the last three fingers of your left or top hand. The back of your hand should match the club face. Keep you left wrist firm and move it back and through the shot without breaking down. The back of your left hand will be facing directly left of your target while the club face comes into the ball squarely. Try to make a compact backswing and then accelerate through the ball.
