Let's Finish the Job

The MLC Alumni Association's efforts to refurbish the Center Street entry sign are well underway. Thanks to over $5000 in generous gifts from you, the rotting beam and sign have been replaced and new lighting has been installed. Structural concerns remain and we are asking you to please help us complete the task by contributing toward the remaining costs necessary to straighten (mudjacking) and solidify (tuckpointing) the sign for generations to come. Your gifts to the MLCAA also produced over $2200 sent to MLC's General Scholarship Fund. Click here to contribute electronically or watch your mail for an upcoming appeal letter.

Welcome, New Alumni

We are proud to introduce you to the newest members of the MLC Alumni Association. The December 15  commencement service saw 19 students receive their Bachelor of Science degrees. Two graduates elected international service, and two candidates from previous classes were assigned. Visit the MLC website for updated lists of assignments.

Dinner - May 18

This year's commencement banquet is slated for Friday, May 18, at 4:00 in the Cafeteria Conference Center. See full details and RSVP online by clicking here or calling the alumni office at 877-652-1995 x 387.  Attendees will enjoy fellowship, a cafeteria dinner, and presentations on various MLC programs. Recent renovations in the MLC cafeteria have produced a "sports bar" section complete with high-top tables, flat-panel televisions, and a relaxing atmosphere for current and future MLC students. We'd also like to tie into the past with DMLC, NWC, and MLC sports memorabilia and classic photos on the walls, as you might find at your local Applebees. Do you have an old letter sweater, jersey, helmet, or other nostalgic sports-related  item lying around that you'd like to donate to the MLC archives? A select group of items will be part of the initial display, and the remainder will be stored in the archives for future consideration. Items may be sent to MLC Campus Beautification, c/o Steve Balza, 1995 Luther Ct, New Ulm MN 56073.
