Rev. Timothy Nass MLC '06 | MLC Was Good for Me...2011 Appeal
Rev. Timothy Nass (pictured, MLC '06) appreciates the blessings he received during his days at MLC. His desire to see present and future generations of students experience the same led him to serve and support his alma mater through the MLC Alumni Association. Click here to read his letter. If MLC was good for you, please consider giving back and showing your thankfulness for what the Lord did for you here on the hill. This year's goals include funding for scholarships, a much-needed repair of the historic Center Street entry sign, and costs associated with alumni activities and mailings. A special thanks to the many alumni who have already responded and put us well on our way to meeting our goals. Click here to contribute online or send your check to MLCAA c/o MLCAA, 1995 Luther Ct, New Ulm, MN 56073. |
Miserables in Minneapolis - Dec. 10
No, this isn't the Minnesota sequel of Sleepless in Seattle. It is an opportunity for alumni and current students to enjoy
a family-style Italian dinner at the original Buca di Beppo restaurant, followed by
a performance of the Broadway hit Les Miserables at the historic Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis on Saturday, December 10. Seats are limited,
so click here for full details and to register online. |
President Zarling Addresses Synod Convention
If you were not privileged to attend the 2011 Synod Convention, please take a few minutes to view President Zarling's address to the
delegates by clicking here. He
tells stories of MLC's many exceptional students, thanks
God for providing faithful laborers, and asks for continued prayers for our college. We also give thanks that President Zarling was recently led to return a call to SE Asia and will continue his service at MLC. |
Do You Use Credit Cards?
Did you know that you can support MLC each time you fill your tank or check out at the grocery store? Please consider signing up for the no-annual-fee MLCAA Visa. Approved applicants receive their choice of four MLC scenes on the card while MLCAA receives $50 after the card's first use and a small percentage of each purchase. Summer Event Recaps
Special thanks to all who joined us for alumni events in summer 2011! Over 100 alumni and spouses gathered on campus to celebrate reunions. One hundred fifty members of the MLC family enjoyed a Twins vs. Brewers outing at Target Field in Minneapolis. The 2011 alumni tour saw nearly 50 attendees spend a week on the East Coast, touring DC and many area attractions. Lord willing, the 2012 tour will take travelers to the Creation Museum in Kentucky June 24-29. Watch this newsletter, check the alumni link on the MLC webpage, and plan to be a part of the next gathering. |
