Getting our kids back on a "School Schedule" can be frustrating.  Try initiating a Master Calendar, including bus schedules, due dates of major projects, and School breaks.  This can help them to learn how to manage their own schedule once they become adults.  Also, it can help Parents to "GET BACK INTO THE SWING OF THINGS"

Featured Patient Testimonial

"I'm 7 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child.  I am, of course, suffering from morning sickness.  It was all the usual things.  Smell sensitivity, nausea, and vomiting.  I was so sick, I lost 5 pounds in a weekend's time.  I had a homeopathic intake with Dr. Rittling and within a few hours of taking the remedy she prescribed, I was able to eat.  I am now eating comfortably and, my nausea is loads better.  I am so thankful to Dr. Rittling for making this joyous time bearable for me and my family."...read more patient testimonials

"The reality is, most people do not see a connection between stress and their health."

Who doesn't.  Everyone has stress to some degree. We live in a world where we are constantly on the go regardless of our place in it and we don't always see eye to eye with everyone or everything in it.  For the fun of it, I decided to look up to see how stress is defined these days in a good old dictionary and this is what I found...read more on our blog.

"Lessons Learned

Lessons I have learned? It doesn't take to long to recognize your deficiencies when you begin training for a triathlon. May I share a few? The first thought was, I can swim and ride a bike, but I hate running. So I began with the weak link, and I began by running a mile. The next day I ran a mile and walked a mile. The third day I ran a mile and walked 2 miles. Every day I added more time to my walk, working up to an hour. After that I began to run 2 miles and then 3, and so forth until I was able to run for an hour straight. After reaching that goal I began to increase the speed reaching nearly a constant running speed of 7mph for a straight hour

"Lack of Sleep Has Multiple Consequences"
It is the rare person that has excellent sleep.  If you do not have a sleeping issue, you probably know someone who does.  I have become aware of the magnitude of this problem because of my patients.  It is only through practicing that I now know one of the absolute basics to health and anti-aging is sleep.   Difficulty falling asleep, difficulty staying asleep, frequent waking, depression, or waking up tired are all possible presentations of a sleeping problem.  Imperfect sleep has become so prevalent that many people do not seek medical help or mention it to their doctors.  Some have not experienced a good night's sleep since childhood.  Others believe they have tried everything available and have just resigned to this way of life.  I urge you to seek medical assistance in getting a restful night's sleep...read more on our blog.
