Thought for the Week

The crazy weather this week has been quite the disruption!  As I sit in my office on Sunday afternoon and watch the wind storm out my window I am crossing my fingers we don't lose power!

During things like snow, wind and rain storms, I am constantly reminded of how fortunate I am to have a warm house, a stocked fridge and friends and family who check in and make sure we are ok.  Also makes me think about those who aren't so fortunate.

This is why I support the career development industry - you make a difference in people's lives! You help people change their circumstances so that they too can weather a storm.  You are often their safe place during rocky times and you are the ones checking in to make sure they are ok.

So - thank you for all that you do, for the difference that you make and for the care and attention you show to each and every one of your clients! It does not go unnoticed!
