Tours in Development

El Camino Real
Beginning in Mexico City in 1598, El Camino Real was explored, expanded, settled and came to an end just north of Santa Fe. After Mexico gained its independence from Spain in 1821, it provided a link to the Santa Fe Trail. resulting in an extensive trade route all the way to central Missouri.
After a week-long scouting trip to southern and central New Mexico, the itinerary for a 7-day tour is taking shape. We're hoping for a spring 2012 departure and will keep you updated! |
Civil War Sesquicentennial
America's greatest national crisis started 150 years ago, and we are still trying to sort out its causes along with its relevance to us today.
Shebby Lee Tours explores that conflict in the western states with Bleeding Kansas
(Oct. 15-21).
For 2012 we're working on the Civil War on the Border. Civil War Missouri stood at the crossroads of America. It was the only slave state north of the Mason-Dixon line and was plagued by guerrilla violence on its western border. Civil War on the Border will allow you to explore the issues and the battles which took place in the most controversial state in the Union. |
