Pre-Bid Webinar for SHRP 2 Capacity Projects to Pilot Test TCAPP and T-PICS
Greetings!
On March 20, 2012, the second Strategic Highway Research Program (SHRP 2) will release two requests for proposals (RFPs). These RFPs will fund pilot tests of the two largest SHRP 2 Capacity products: Transportation for Communities-Advancing Projects through Partnerships (TCAPP), a web-based guide to conducting collaborative transportation planning and project development, and Transportation Project Impact Case Studies (T-PICS), a web-based economic impacts assessment tool. The pilot test projects are SHRP 2 Capacity project numbers C33 and C39. TRB will conduct a webinar on Tuesday, March 27, 2012, from 1-2:30 PM EDT to provide information about the two pilot project RFPs to prospective bidders. Opportunities will be provided for questions and answers about both RFPs. This is a free webinar. No Professional Development Hours (PDH) will be provided. You can register for the webinar on the following page.
After participating in this session, the audience members will be more knowledgeable about TCAPP and T-PICS, be able to decide whether they want to prepare a proposal in response to the C33 and C39 RFPs, and prepare better proposals.
