We are looking forward to seeing as many of our friends, neighbors and fellow SPB supporters as possible on the 24th to kick off the summer! Summer casual dress. Drinks start at 6:30, with a buffet dinner around 7:30 PM. We'll conduct a little business, then dance to the summertime tunes of the Cape Cod Slackers.

The summer kickoff dinner supports the efforts of Save Popponesset Pay whose mission is to keep safe and navigable the waterways in and around Popponesset Bay and to protect the Popponesset Spit barrier beach and endangered species habitat. Some of the activities from the past winter, including two major dredging projects, can be seen on the new SPB website and newsletter updates.
At the dinner, you'll have the chance to view and order a striking framed collage of photos of the Spit and Bay taken by Beverly Myers Bailey. Proceeds will support SPB, an all-volunteer 501 c 3 organization.
A big thanks to our business friends, whose financial support helps offset the cost of the dinner:

Please let us know by June 8 if you plan to attend.
Please mention this to your Bright Coves, Popponesset Island and other New Seabury neighbors who may not be on our mailing list.
Can't wait to kick off the summer!!
