Utilizing EMDR Through Excelsior's Continuum of Care

 Why is EMDR beneficial for our population at Excelsior? The majority of girls utilizing Excelsior's services have been involved in major traumatic life events such as physical, sexual, and emotional abuse. Although talk therapy has its benefits, EMDR allows the client's to work through these issues at an internal level.
