Holiday Happenings at Excelsior Youth Center

  Excelsior Youth Center takes great pride in making the holiday season the very best it can be for our students that are often a long way from home. Many dedicated staff members spend countless hours decorating cottages, baking holiday treats and thinking of holiday activities for the girls to enjoy over winter break.

Normalcy is a key component of our treatment program at Excelsior. In a highly structured treatment setting with the population of girls that is culturally, racially and socio-economically diverse, it is crucial to promote the normal experiences that shape adolescents into healthy and functional young adults. No time of year is this more evident than during the holiday season.
