2012 Christian Award
Hannah Petersen is the recipient of the Archdiocesan 2012 Christian Service Award. Not only did she engage in a wide-range of charity work, she also led advocacy through her work in C.L.U.E. (Clergy and Laity United for Economic Justice) to benefit workers and unite
them with their faith community. Hannah is also fluent in Spanish
and also utilizes this skill in her community outreach.
We are very proud of you, Hannah.

Last month the NDA and Loyola Concert Choir performed at a choir festival held at Irvine High School. Seven choirs performed resulting in our NDA Concert Choirs' being awarded the Silver Rating.

German Student Exchange Program
  Theresa Schick Nora Kirchhoff These two students are going to be joining us from our sister school in Vechta, Germany for part of the 2012-2013 school year. Season Wrap Up-
Softball Our Regal Gryphons opened league play with a victory over Marlborough. They recently lost a tough game at Ramona Convent, but they will come back strong after Easter break to play three straight games. Freshman Dylan Boada, Senior Halie Times have been stellar pitchers. Schedule click here
Swim The team is already turning in strong times from Mary Kate Reid, Isabelle Alario and Claire Gunderman. The Varsity posted its first win over Marymount in quite some time. Tough losses to Immaculate Heart and Marlborough have the team flirting with second place as they prepare for the final push before prelims.
Track Most of the league competition is forthcoming; however the team posted an impressive 4th place finish at the ASICS Irvine Track Invitational in early March. Strong performances from Ugo Ogbunamiri, Dayna Grundy, Francesca Caruncho, Tahara Sandfield and Torrie Mitchell ensured the win.
