Eliminating Pain Naturally by Dr. Kayla Bennett
|
|
A majority of the new patients we meet in the clinic come to us for pain relief:
- The end of ski season and beginning of summer sports have some people questioning if injuries are affecting the enjoyment and performance of their avocations.
- Chronic pain from work habits, repetitive motions, and other old injuries eventually demands attention.
- The question is always, "What do I do now?"
As a chiropractor, I saw years ago that patients' pain symptoms do not respond quickly to classic passive treatment techniques. Chronic pain and injuries need an additional component of treatment: along with joint health, soft tissues must be addressed.
I specialize in a soft tissue treatment technique called Active Release Techniques (ART).
- ART is a patented soft tissue system that utilizes an extensive knowledge of anatomy to manually treat dysfunction in muscles, ligaments, tendons, nerves and fascia. This dysfunction often occurs over time and produces adhesion or scar tissue in the affected soft tissue.
- Without proper evaluation and treatment, this build up of poorly defined connective tissue will affect the bio-mechanics of our everyday activities, thus producing pain and discomfort during work or exercise.
- By combining ART with standard chiropractic practices, patients experience decreased pain, improved performance and a better quality of life in a fraction of the treatment time, without the need for costly injections or surgery!
ART Lecture and Demonstration
To see if your chronic pain or injuries may be helped with Active Release Techniques and chiropractic care, come listen to Dr. Kayla Bennett DC discuss the topic in detail Thursday, March 17 at 6:30 p.m. at Whole Foods Market in Highlands Ranch. Dr. Bennett will be demonstrating ART on a member/members of the audience, as well, so that you may personally see and hear the healing benefits of ART. Please call the front desk at 303-471-9355 to RSVP. See you there!
