North Port has a City Commission Meeting Wednesday evening at 6:00pm. The Commissioners have called for a special meeting to discuss the City Attorney's contract.
There has been an outcry against the City Attorney for the outrageous charges he has levied at the City of North Port... exorbitant fees for filing documents, cashing in on citizens for ordinance violations, and charging the city $1M in fees above his $160,000 retainer.
What other city in the US pays this kind of fee for the land size and population of North Port?
Please show your support for your sister group by coming to North Port's City Hall this Wednesday, 04/20/11 at 6:00pm. We have citizens from North Port who will make comments, please just help out with numbers by planning on attending.
