As mentioned in our last e-mail, this "Bush tax cut extension" bill is getting out of hand. Our representatives need our input. We have two actions that we need to consider.
There is a press release that tea party groups across the country are putting out announcing apetition drive against the tax bill, which you can go ahead and sign. I believe this is something we need to do. I would like for us to approve this as a group at our meeting tomorrow night and then get it out to the media. Click here to see the proposed press release.
There are many places to read more info on this bill. A good place to start is the e-mail you received from me yesterday with links to articles (see this repeated below). However, whatever was written yesterday is old news now as it is changing almost by the minute. This Lame Duck session of congress is unbelievable. Conservative congressmen cannot give their stamp of approval to any of it.
