Weekly Gatherings Sunday, June
6, 2010: Bullying is Not OK Rev. Kimi Riegel Rev. Kimi Riegel will address
the on-going issue of bullying in our schools, in our homes and even in our
communities of faith. This is a serious issue that won't go away - why? Sunday, June
13, 2010: Flower Communion Rev. Kimi Riegel Each year we Unitarian
Universalists celebrate a flower communion. Like a traditional communion, we
share in the glory of creation. We each bring a flower to church and take a
different one home. Don't have any flowers? Don't worry; we always have enough. Flower communion is the celebration
of our community. Don't miss it!

Youth Programs by Jan Price
Thanks are in order to the
Ewick family for donating sand left over from their Relay for Life
endeavor! Also thanks to Sam Vansen for
getting the sandbox cleaned out and putting it all in! It is all much appreciated. We could still use more sand if anyone wants
to donate -just bring in a bag or two and dump it on in! PLEASE MAKE SURE IT IS "PLAY" SAND.
Mark your calendars for these
dates in our summer programming:
June 20 10-11:15 Working
with Clay led by Dawn Boesen
June 27 10-11:15 Drumming
with Beata Lamparski
All ages of children and
older youth are welcome to participate or help out. An extra adult will be on
hand so babies or younger toddlers are welcome also.
WE
STILL NEED MORE VOLUNTEERS TO SHARE A TALENT WITH OUR YOUNG PEOPLE!
Please
volunteer - for only one Sunday, one hour, during the summer - share something
you enjoy doing, be
it art, a craft, music - your choice! Contact Jan Price at 248-548-2376 or
