States have been forced to fight one by one for e-fairness, but now there is finally federal legislation that could level the playing field once and for all. The Marketplace Equity Act would prevent online-only retailers like Amazon from abusing a decades-old sales tax loophole that puts our country's brick-and-mortar stores at an insurmountable disadvantage and leaves our states lacking in tax income.

A Kelley School of Business class is interested in providing consulting service to local Bloomington businesses in the upcoming spring semester, (Spring 2012).
X516 Consulting Academy is graduate-level course offered through the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship in the Kelley School of Business. As part of the class, students participate in a 6-week practicum in teams for 4-5 to assist a local Bloomington business resolve a business problem. Twisted Limb is working with fellow LFI Members Upland Brewery to recycle their spent barley and excess paper to create cards. They flaunt natural flecking and texture from the barley and four of your favorite beer shades: wheat, pilsner, amber, and porter. Cards can be plain or printed. Read more here.
