Stand with Mainstreet Logo A National Solution to Tax Fairness

States have been forced to fight one by one for e-fairness, but now there is finally federal legislation that could level the playing field once and for all.  The Marketplace Equity Act would prevent online-only retailers like Amazon from abusing a decades-old sales tax loophole that puts our country's brick-and-mortar stores at an insurmountable disadvantage and leaves our states lacking in tax income.
