Estate Administrator May Not Sue Employer Over Employment-Related Fatal Shooting, by Thomas A. Robinson. An Illinois appellate court recently affirmed a trial court's grant of summary judgment in favor of a defendant-employer that had been sued by the special administrator of a deceased employee's estate.
