Ever tried the yummy burgers (and sandwiches, etc.) at TK Burgers? If you have not, then now is your chance! If you have enjoyed their burgers before, well, you'll have the chance to try something new while supporting our campus! The FPA will be hosting a special Fairmont Night at TK Burgers. TK Burgers is in the shopping center at Imperial and Santa Ana Canyon Road. They have a great atmosphere and delicious food. They have agreed to give back 20% of all sales to our campus. You do not have to bring a flyer or anything with you..just please remember to tell them you are from Fairmont and are there for the fundraiser. Invite friends, family, etc. and enjoy a night of delicious food with great company! The special fundraiser takes place from 10AM to 9PM on Tuesday, January 31. More information will be posted and distributed. If you have any questions, please contact Cari Calvy at myriley11@gmail.com. See you there!

Gently Worn Uniforms Drop-Off

Please take some time to look through your child's uniforms at home and pull out those items that no longer fit.  We will be having a special drop off for gently worn items next week, Wednesday the 25th through Friday the 27th. There will be three drop boxes - one by the FPA bulletin board - one by Vicky Mantell's office (student services) and one in the main office of the Junior High.

Your donation of gently worn uniforms benefits our FPA as gently worn uniforms are sold for a discounted rate of $5.00 per item. Proceeds go directly to our campus FPA so that we can continue to provide so many wonderful things to our children.

You can help our campus FPA by 1) donating gently worn uniforms, and 2) buying gently worn uniforms from the FPA. Typically gently worn uniforms are available for sale during FPA meetings, campus events, etc. Please contact a board member or see Cathy DaGraca (gently worn chairperson)with any questions.

PhilanthropyStudents Create A Philanthrophy Website!

Sebastian Ressell (third grade), Aaron Almeida (third grade) and Broden Ressell (first grade) have created a website to help World Vision to raise money for those in need.  Last year Sebastian received a World Vision magazine saw a story about the poor water quality in parts of the world.  Sebastian told his father that he wanted to help with a well in Africa and he has raised thousand of dollars to help others.  Aaron Almeida's birthday is this month and he asked for donations to the website in lieu of birthday gifts!  Aaron also held a garage sale and donated $167.00 to World Vision.

This year the three boys are raising money to donate to the World Vision Animal and Agricultural Fund, this will provide hardworking families with livestock or farming tools that can put food on the table. Next year they want to work with the medical fund, helping to eradicate disease and provide immunizations.

They are such amazing boys with a heart for others and we are so proud of them!
