News & Announcements
Fall is in the air!
As the weather starts to get a little cooler, we want to remind parents to check the school dress code. Students can ONLY wear Fairmont Private School Apparel purchased from True Grits. Students may not wear non-Fairmont outerwear at any time (except on Free Dress days). Please check the True Grits website for more information.
Library News
Starting Monday, October 3rd, we are asking that all parents refrain from accompanying their children into the Library during our peak activity times (7:45-8:15 and 3:00-3:45). First grade students will begin Accelerated Reader during their Library class next week and the number of students in the Library will increase significantly. Reducing traffic in the Library will allow us to move the students through the checkout process quickly and help us maintain a "Quiet Zone" in and around the Library so our students can concentrate when quizzing or studying. Thank you in advance for your support in this important matter.
Donate Books this Sunday!
Don't forget to bring books to donate to Megan Mettler's Book Drive this Sunday at the OC Children's Book Festival. All books will go to local schools and non-profits through Megan's Kids READ project. The book drive will be held at the Fairmont booth, so stop by, say hi, and support a great cause. Click here for all the details.
"Coupon Book " Birthday Free Dress
If your student has a summer birthday, he or she may use the Free Dress passes on his or her "half-birthday," which is six months after the real birthday. If your student's "half-birthday," falls during Winter break, he or she may opt to have Free Dress before or after winter break! If the student's birthday lands on the weekend or a holiday, he or she may choose to use the birthday Free Dress pass on the day before the weekend or holiday, or on the day after.
