Thank you so very much to our first grade teacher, Marci Shaffer for organizing the "Lee National Denim Day" at the Anaheim Hills Campus! As much as we all loved wearing jeans and pink in celebration of this day, the cause is real and cancer touches so many of us and our families. We are pleased to announce that you all contributed $2,620. to Breast Cancer Research.
Marci's mother died of breast cancer and she wore a shirt that said "Mom, I miss you" and her sons wore shirts that said "I wear pink for my grandma". Thank you also to Mrs. Davtyan, Emory and Norah's mom, for helping Mrs. Shafer so much. Mrs Davytan's mother is a breast cancer survivor. Thank you to all our other mom's, and Mrs. Apple that fight the battle so valiantly and bravely.

"A Meal That Changes A Holiday...A Message That Changes A Lifetime."
The Boxes of Love effort continues this week. We will be collecting boxes filled with 'your love' from October 5 through October 22. Canning Hunger distributes these boxes to less fortunate families in Orange County, and they are hoping to help 22,000 families this holiday season. This is a great opportunity to go to the grocery store with your child and help them shop for their gift to others! Planting the 'seeds' of philanthropy! |

"OneCause"
5 Seconds Can Earn Our School THOUSANDS!
The Fairmont Parent Association is proud to share with you an exciting fundraising program. The reason it is so exciting is that YOU can help earn money for our campus by doing nothing more than your normal shopping.
We have partnered up with OneCause in an effort to offer an amazingly easy way to raise funds for our school!
OneCause has over 900 vendors that contribute a percentage of the total sale for every online purchase you make. The wonderful part is that there are so many vendors that many of us regularly shop with. The list is so extensive that it is best for you to review them at the OneCause site. However, here are some stores you probably readily recognize:
Oriental Trading Barnes & Noble Borders Cost Plus
Target Amazon Chico's Crate & Barrel
1-800-PetMeds Dell Ebay Bloomingdales
1-800-Contacts Best Buy Florist.com Hotels.com
Nordstrom JCPenney Lancome Finish Line
Disney Store PetSmart NutriSystem
REI
Restaurant.com Pur Minerals Sephora The Great Indoors
Toys R Us Verizon Wireless Walmart Wine.com
Williams-Sonoma Wet Seal West Elm White House Black Market
These are just a few of the vendors who work with OneCause. Remember, joining OneCause is free and only takes a few minutes. Your friends and family can join as well to help earn money for our school. Simply shop as you normally would online, going through OneCause.com to link to the vendor you wish to shop with. There are no special codes you must enter.
The best part is that you can get started in 3 easy steps!!!
- Go to www.onecause.com and click "Join"
- Fill in your profile and find your school by typing in "Fairmont Private", then select your campus.
- Find your vendor and start shopping!
Every time you make any online purchases with the vendors associated with OneCause you are earning money for our school. Your profile will be updated quarterly to reflect any contributions you have earned for us. This is such an easy way to make money for our school that does not require any work on your part other than registering and spreading the word.
So, please join your FPA in enrolling in OneCause and spreading the word to your friends and family. Please contact your FPA Board for more details.
Thank you in advance for your support!
