 Meet Our Teachers
Pre-School - 3 year olds

Talia Lerma, Anna Kellison, Deborah Brooks and Antonella Mancini
Pre-school 3-

These amazing ladies tend to our youngest Cougars -  the "cougar cubs"!  They have incredible patience and love for the littlest students on campus.  The Pre-School teachers use play, song, structure and creativity to introduce our cougar-cubs to basic skills and to establish their love for learning.

Congratulations to Anna Kellison - her baby Lily Isabella was born on October 6!
Box of Love"A Meal That Changes A Holiday...A Message That Changes A Lifetime."

The Boxes of Love effort kicks off this week.  We will be collecting boxes filled with 'your love' from October 5 through October 22.  Canning Hunger distributes these boxes to less fortunate families in Orange County, and they are hoping to help 22,000 families this holiday season.

This is a great opportunity to go to the grocery store with your child and help them shop for their gift to others!  Planting the 'seeds' of philanthropy!

"You Make Me Smile"

JK Johnson

Our JK Teacher, Miss Johnson has passed on some of the silly and amusing things her JK-ers have said to her this month!  "I hope you find these quotes as adorable and memorable as I have,"
Miss Johnson tells us.

"Miss Johnson, when you turned into a teacher,
was it magic?" - Sophia

"Miss Johnson, I'm styling!" - Christo

"I know a delicious color, it's green!" - Edan

"Hey, I DID it!" - Shane

"Miss Johnson, stop teaching.  I have to cough.
I do not want to disturb you."  - Garret

"Miss Johnson, you make me laugh too much."  - Haley

"What are we doing after that?  And after that?
And after that?" - Aidynn A.

"What did you say?  I forgot to hear you." - Dylan

"School is fun, but thinking is hard work." - Emmy
Homestay

Give your family an international experience without ever leaving home.

The Homestay Program is hosting our next information night next Wednesday, October 13th at 6:30 pm in the Preparatory Academy Theater.

We will be discussing this wonderful opportunity, what we expect of our host families, what you can expect from the program, and we will detail the support that Fairmont provides our host families and students.

We have both long term and short term hosting opportunities available.  If you have been considering hosting a student but are not ready to make a 10 month commitment we now have wonderful opportunities to host groups of students coming for short term educational visits.

Please RSVP to Christie Dembek at cdembek@fairmontschools.com.  Or call 714-999-5055 X1427
