For Families! Tour the ABCs of Central Park
|
Inspired by a love of trees, artist/author G. Augustine Lynas spent more than a year in Central Park photographing branches and limbs which form all 26 letters of the alphabet and all 10 numerals.
LW! and G. Augustine Lynas bring you an hour-long tour of The ABCs of Central Park*. This tour and book are visual reminders of the wonder and beauty of New York's Central Park, a NYC Scenic Landmark, and a unique, colorful way to help youngsters learn about the park through the alphabet and numbers. First, we will discover where Lynas' photographs found their inspiration, then we will use our own keen eyes to snap candid photos of what Lynas calls "alpha-branches" and "number-limbs!" Make sure to bring your cameras!
