British mezzo-soprano Sarah Rose Taylor will perform a solo recital at Christ & Saint Stephen's Church this Saturday. Program to include: Italian songs of the Baroque Era, Wagner's Wesendonck Lieder, Ravel's Trois Poemes de Stephane Mallarme and Elgar's Sea Pictures. The recital will be accompanied by Max Midroit on the piano and Nigel Potts on the organ - $10 suggested donation. Reception to follow. No Reservations Required. 

 

*The oldest sanctuary on the Upper West Side, Christ & Saint Stephen's was designed by architect William H. Day in 1876. It was designated a NYC Landmark in 1990 as part of the Upper West Side-Central Park West Historic District.
