Proposed West End Avenue Historic District
NEEDS YOU

The Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC) is actively considering the boundaries for a proposed Historic District centering on West End Avenue.  But right now, the rowhouse residence at 330 West 86th Street (between Riverside Drive and West End Avenue) is threatened by demolition, opening the door for an inappropriate "sliver building" to rise in its wake.  Such destruction is symptomatic of the shocking lack of protection for this landmark-worthy neighborhood.

The West 80s Neighborhood Association, the Coalition for a Livable West Side, the West End Preservation Society (WEPS), and LANDMARK WEST! will be co-hosting a community meeting next Tuesday, June 8th, at 6:30PM.  Come to learn how historic district designation can protect 330 West 86th Street and other buildings within the proposed West End Avenue Historic District, and how you can help.  PLEASE PLAN TO ATTEND!
