Your signature will make the difference:
Sign on to save West-Park Presbyterian Church!

As seven hundred and fifty two (752) people will tell you, your signature makes a difference!

In 2009, 752 people signed on in supportof West-Park Presbyterian Church, u
rging the Landmarks Preservation Commission to "rectify the neglect of one of Manhattan's most historically and architecturally distinguished buildings."  Six months later, they did just that, voting unanimously to designate West-Park an Individual Landmark on January 12, 2010.

But our work is not yet over!
West-Park is on the brink of full-fledged landmark status, and next Tuesday's (April 20th) public hearing before City Council Subcommittee is crucial!

In just seconds, you can sign on to the current petition, echoing the words of City Council member Gale Brewer:

"There is more to do. This momentous designation
sets the stage for the congregation, neighbors,
Community Board 7, elected officials, and preservation groups
to work in concert for the church's spiritual
and adaptive renewal."

Please sign the petition today, and LANDMARK WEST! will deliver copies to all members of the Subcommittee prior to their public hearing next week. Your voice will be heard!

Your presence is vital!

Once you've signed on, double-check your calendar and make sure you have all of the details for Tuesday's hearing.
