Greetings!

SEASONS GREETINGS!  It's that time of year already!  Are you starting to feel the holiday spirit? Or are you starting to feel some stress that can come with it?

We can help with relieving some of that stress that comes with decorating your home for the holidays - leaving you more time to enjoy holiday events or at least a little time to relax.

I have had the enjoyment of doing Christmas decorating for several beautiful homes for 12 years now.  This year we have the capacity to take on a few new clients.  We are also happy to work with you to create holiday decor for celebrating Hanukah.

We specialize in using fresh, natural materials to create gorgeous garlands, wreaths, mantle displays, mailbox displays, floral compositions, and more!  We can even select your Christmas tree, deliver, set it up, and drape with beautiful strands of lights. CLICK THIS LINK TO SEE OUR CHRISTMAS DECOR PORTFOLIO

We also do outdoor holiday lighting.

So if you are interested in talking to us about decorating your home or property for the holidays, please call or email me.  Please let me know by Nov. 28.  Those who contact us the earliest will get priority for scheduling requests.

Frequently Asked Questions for the Winter Season

* Do we have to wait for Spring before installing new landscaping?

For trees and shrubs, it is better to install them during the winter months rather than waiting for spring.  Plants are less stressed when the weather is cool. Our spring weather turns very hot very quickly. Since our soil does not freeze below the surface, plants roots are perfectly happy getting established during the cool winter season.

* When is it time for new pine straw and mulch?

Usually after most of the leaves have fallen off the trees. Most Oak trees do not finish until early January.  But the wait is for aesthetic reasons.  If you have bare spots around plant roots, it is best to cover them now to keep the roots protected.

When can overgrown shrubs be pruned back?

The appropriate time for significantly decreasing the size of a shrub, or pruning for rejuvenation is late winter (late Jan. - Feb.)  This is the time when shrubs are less stressed and spring growth is near.

*  Do outdoor seasonal color containers need water during the winter?

YES, they do.  Containers do not hold as much water as the ground; therefore plants and flowers in containers need water when the soil becomes dry even during the winter.
