As the seasons change we want to remind our readers how important lubrication is to the proper maintenance of your locking systems. We recommend a 5 minute checkup that can keep your locks from failing. Give a quick squirt of GT 85 or any moisture displacing silicone or teflon based spray (not petroleum based) and work it in and out with the key. This will ensure that your lock will work properly for the months ahead.

 

Don't let what appears as a minor problem, turn into a major problem. Remember to call us for advice or service before your lock or access control problems become a security risk to your home or business. As always, you will reach one of us personally, never an answering service, during our normal hours of business.

 We recently were asked to complete an installation of two new exit devices at the Mystic Arts Center on Water Street in Mystic, as the existing antique devices did not meet life safety codes. We worked hard to match the color scheme and decor of the facility. See the before and after shots below:
