Customer Testimonial
Hi,
I am a customer with AA Lock and Key and would like to share some experiences that I have with the members and services from AA Lock and key. My most recent experience was having Dave come to the Fire Station and Plan a new electronically programmable door controller that allows me to program different codes for different users which has a timer attached and times out after the set time. Confused yet? Don't worry, Dave and his staff will respond quickly to your needs and efficiently install whatever it is you wish to accomplish. And by way of "Service with a smile"? Dave and his technicians bide by that saying, even with the toughest jobs, Dave will look over at you and say "We will get this done"! The job that Dave did looks like the door came with all of the equipment that he installed, A great job.

Security Tips & Trends
Where is security technology going in the future?
The Editor-In-Chief, Gale Johnson, of Locksmith Ledger, the premier technical resource for physical and electronic security specialists, notes the following after recent industry events:
* Mechanical keys will continue to be used, but in many cases they would be used only as a backup in case the primary electronic locking system failed * The most exciting hardware products that will lead the way in the near future will be advances in electronic access control * Security Hardware Distributors Association (SHDA) suggest their hardware be picked by consumers over other products, for better quality with price as a secondary consideration * Availability of "made in USA" product s ~ the usual answer was that Grade 1 locks are generally available as made in USA while grade 2 & 3 products are primarily imported from outside the country * A sign of things to come: the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) panel, found that most of the exciting action at SHDA involved electronics while the traditional locksmith product lineup involved mainly improvements, refinements and better packaging. History of AA Lock & Key
Then there was the time Dave was in his office and looked out the window to the roadside...two guys, outside of a car, were apparently having an obvious disagreement. Before he knew it, one of the guys opened Dave's office door, which has a sign on it to "please use other door" and asked if Dave had a tire iron!!! Dave said "No!" and called the police pronto! The car abruptly left and the police found one of the guys walking up the road...Never a dull moment here!
