Segment Intending a Desired Tax Outcome
When taking a new or unusual approach to a tax issue, I formed the habit of "imagining" all of the various objections that a potential auditor might have to the novel approach we were taking.
Then for each potential objection, I "planned" the rational argument that explained why the approach we were taking was more logical and achieved greater compliance with the rules and regulations in this taxpayer's unique circumstances.
In some cases, I would even make sure I was there on the first day of an audit to explain the unusual approach we had taken to the auditor and the rationale behind it.
Accordingly, before the auditor got "invested" in an idea that we had done something incorrectly, we proactively showed that the novel approach was warranted. I can't remember an instance where we were unsuccessful using that strategy.

The Path of Least Resistance
In our last newsletter, we mentioned a concept called The Path of Least Resistance. This simply means to take the easiest, quickest way to arrive at a given goal.
In nature, this is always the case. For example, plants always find the most direct path to the sun, never struggling to do so. Rivers twist and turn, winding around any obstructions in their path. Lighting always strikes the nearest, most conductive target. And so on.
This is also the case with manifestations brought by Law of Attraction.
A common mistake that people make when trying to manifest a desire is that they are too specific with their thoughts. This restricts the paths that the Universe can take to bring the manifestation through The Path of Least Resistance.
A very specifically stated desire is also more likely to be off topic.
An example would be someone who focuses on winning the lottery but whose underlying desire is actually to have financial freedom.
There are many paths to financial freedom whereas there are very few paths to winning the lottery. Thus, by focusing on the general good feeling of financial freedom, we give The Universe many paths from which to choose.
The Path of Least Resistance is then broad and as such, the manifestation will come more quickly and also be more vibrationally accurate. That is, it will feel good when it arrives!
A good rule of thumb for quick manifestation is then:
- Focus generally and briefly on what you want
- Feel good about receiving it
- Let go of how it will come
Try this technique with something small, such as attracting a good feeling phone call from a friend, any friend, and see what happens. You'll be amazed at how quickly you can bring good feeling things into your life as a result!
